Monitoring your vessel’s battery system is something every captain will need with an electric propulsion system. We can provide a system that allows you to see your system’s complete overview while onboard or overseas. You will be able to see everything from state of charge to current usage, to solar input or battery charger input, the system can even email the client if the state of charge gets below a set percentage.
When you have the real estate on your vessel, solar is the best way to capitalize on your space and turn the sun power into clean power for your battery bank. We only use the highest quality solar panels and solar regulators to provide the most efficient system for your vessel.
When going that extra nautical mile with an electric motor you will need some backup power to keep the power bank charged. We will find the best suited generator to keep your batteries charged. The system we install will auto start the generator and then shut it down when it reaches a set state of charge, which means you can enjoy your journey without having to worry about keeping an eye on the battery levels.
Due to the fact that the electric motors have a higher torque spec than a combustible engine, sometimes the propeller on your vessel will have to be fabricated to suit. We are able to carry out the design.
The system’s battery bank is one of the most crucial components. The size of your bank will determine your range, as well as equipment that will be required to run while onboard. We select only a few high quality brands when it comes to lithium batteries.
Sail Drive
Electric motor with permanent magnet design, this motor is suitable for vessels ranging from 15-80 feet. The unit weights only 42.5kg and is very compact, making for a clean install and space saving.
Servo Prop Sail Drive
Award winning motor with a powerful hydro generator that will produce 1kw @ 7-8kts and 3kw 11-12kts. This beautiful motor is designed for mono hulls up to 50 ft and multi hulls up to 60 ft, they can also be used as a hydro generator for vessels up to 100 ft.
Modular Shaft Drive Motor
This motor is designed for move larger displacement vessels, including small ferries, heavy duty commercial boat and non- planing boats. System can be configured in 12kw, 24kw & 36kw the latter of which will provide up to 120hp. The system can be installed as a twin motor for catamarans etc.. Motor can be used on the same mounting frame of a Vanmar or Volvo shaft drive motor.
E-Line Inboard Motor
This motor is on the cheaper side though quality is still very high standard. Motor outputs range from 5kw, 8kw and 11kw. The 11kw is suitable for vessels up to 36ft or 7 ton. The unit is 71kg and is liquid cooled
